Industry Visit to Tanjung Bruas Port – Universiti Malaysia Terengganu
Tanjung Bruas Port, December 5, 2024 – Tanjung Bruas Port (“TBP”) welcomed a visit from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (“UMT”) as part of the "Jelajah Pelabuhan 2024: Eksplorasi Tanjung Bruas" program. It involved 20 participants, consisting of 19 student’s final semester from Faculty Of Marine Engineering Technology accompanied by one lecturer, who aimed to gain a deeper understanding of port management and operations. The students were given an in-depth exposure to the operations at Tanjung Bruas Port, including the port’s infrastructure, safety systems, and equipment used to enhance TBP’s smooth and operational efficiency. They were also had an opportunity to explore the port to gain a clearer understanding of how the port operates. This program is aimed to offer the students a firsthand experience on how the theories is applied in a real-world setting. The visit is hoped to be a valuable experience, giving them a better understanding of port management and the maritime industry overall.
