TBP PRIHATIN: KICKING OFF THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH BIG SMILES
Tanjung Bruas Port, 6 February 2025 – Tanjung Bruas Port (“TBP”) continues to demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) through the “Back to School” program. This year, TBP once again collaborated with Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari, Melaka Sentral branch, marking the third consecutive year of this partnership. A total of 116 children from underprivileged families, including Asnaf, Fakir dan Miskin from areas surrounding Tanjung Bruas Port, Adun Pantai Kundur and Parlimen Tangga Batu, received school supplies to help them prepare for the upcoming school session in mid-February. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on parents while bringing joy and motivation to the children.
A lunch gathering was held at Restoran D’Apple Fried Chicken, Klebang where the children dined together alongside TBP staff, Japerun representatives, members of JPKK Tanjung Kling and JPKK Pengkalan Perigi. The event was made even more lively with the presence of Adun Pantai Kundur, YB Tuminah Kadi, who took the opportunity to warmly engage with the children and share in their excitement.
YB Tuminah expressed her appreciation for TBP’s initiative for its ongoing commitment to community welfare. She highlighted that such efforts not only provide financial relief to families in need but also demonstrate TBP’s dedication to social responsibility and the well-being of the local community.
In addition to the “Back to School” program, TBP has implemented various other CSR initiatives, such as providing solar-powered lamps for fishermen’s huts in Balik Bukit, visiting local residents' homes, and donating funds to Surau Hj Abu Balik Bukit. All these initiatives reflect TBP’s continuous efforts to support the well-being of the local community and strengthen the spirit of solidarity.
Through the “Back to School” program and other CSR initiatives, TBP reinforces its dedication to keep support those in need and promoting social responsibility. Moving forward, TBP hopes to continue such initiatives for the benefit of the local community.
