5 June 2025 – Tanjung Bruas Port (“TBP”) successfully held its inaugural Firefighting Awareness Campaign 1.0 aimed at promoting safety awareness and enhancing emergency preparedness among employees and stakeholders.
The campaign featured active participation from Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Cawangan Tangga Batu, who conducted live demonstration and shared valuable expertise on fire safety and emergency response. Their contribution added significant value, offering real-world insights and best practices.
The event included interactive sessions, practical training and hands-on exposure to fire safety equipment. Participants—including TBP employees, tenants, port users, and residents of nearby villages—engaged in simulated fire scenarios and learned how to respond effectively in emergencies. Firefighters also demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers.
This initiative reflects TBP’s ongoing commitment to create a safe and secure working environment while cultivating a strong safety culture throughout the port community. The success of this first edition lays a strong foundation for future campaigns and collaboration with emergency response partners.
